Got called back to work, starting tomorrow morning.  Just when I was getting used to not having a schedule to keep.  I guess we'll see how long it lasts this time. 

I believe that I should have something else to comment on here besides my current working/unemployed status.  I mean, I read a lot of fanfic; I could try writing some of my own, or mention things from my life like my 15th high school reunion last week, but I guess I haven't quite gotten myself to a point yet where I'm prepared to get into that type of stuff yet.
 
I'm working on it; eventually, maybe?

Well; that didn't last long.  Got laid-off today,(well yesterday) may or may not get called back at a later date.

Today, I started a new job.  I had been unemployed since November '08, and that was only seasonal for a couple months.  Before that;  I had been off for nearly a year.  This (working a full time job) is going to take some getting used to again.  Gotta get a new pair of insoles for the shoes, because I'll be on the feet all day, and after this first day, they are aching.
Oh well, at least I got something before the unemployment ran out.

So, tomorrow will be my birthday.  I've never seen it as such a BFHD (big fat hairy deal), but it seems that the rest of the world likes to mark such occasions with some degree of enthusiasm.  Personally, I just see it like mentally double checking what year you're filling in the date, January and maybe the first few weeks of February ; after that, it's just "this" year.  With the birthday, It's I am "this" old; with "this" changing from 32 to 33. 

After reading on several communities here for quite a while; I figured that I should get around to officially joining up. I doubt if I'm going to post all that often; but who knows, maybe I might get more involved and actually have something to say eventually.
Most of the reason that I signed up is so that if I ever feel like leaving a comment on some of the fic that I read here; then I won't have to worry about leaving them anonymously.
